Consolidated Theatres is an American chain of movie theaters owned by Reading International and has 10 theatres all based in Hawaii.
Founded by Herman Stone, it was once part of The Stone Group. Its first theatre was the Park Terrace in Charlotte, North Carolina. The theatres usually had upwards of 10 auditoriums, which in some cases drove older competitors with fewer screens out of business.

Under Regal Entertainment Group
Formerly, the company operated over 400 movie screens and 28 theaters in 6 states along the East Coast.
Regal Entertainment Group completed its acquisition of Consolidated Theaters on May 1, 2008.
As a condition of approval of the acquisition, the United States Department of Justice required that Regal sell 4 theaters from the Consolidated chain to ensure continued competition in the Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, markets.
